With NFL preseason action in full swing and deals getting inked left and right, football is obviously right around the corner. As more and more athletes and analysts take to Twitter (Twitter), we get to find out firsthand what the players and people closest to the action think of breaking stories like Michael Vick signing with the Eagles and today’s news that Brett Favre will sign with the Vikings pending a physical.
If you haven’t been following the Favre football saga, it’s been a soap opera a few years in the making. The twice retired footballer is
trying to make his umpteenth comeback (last year it was with the Jets) as a Viking after a history-making career with the Packers. Of course, the NFL players are no doubt entangled in all the drama, and as such, they’ve once again turned to Twitter to share their commentary.
